What Bodies Mind® Services can do for you:

I’m grateful to have found Carole. After over 25 years of various traumas and 15 of shoulder issues, I feel painless and balanced. She has taught me how to move my body and think differently so I am stronger and generally feel great! I recently had a bad boogie boarding wipe out in Hawaii. I healed remarkably quickly because I had learned highly effective tools from Carole. She is patient and intuitive. I highly recommend her!

Just as I know that love and respect are the cornerstones of a fulfilling personal relationship, thanks to Carole, I know they are at the heart of a healthy relationship with my body. I know that loving and respecting the body means developing the connection between it, and the mind, and the spirit. It means filling it with good fuel, and moving it often, with purpose, and with grace. Just as I would never expect perfection in myself or my mate, I no longer find my body a source of dissatisfaction. It is what it is. I can make it better, more pain-free, more attractive. I can expect it to do things I love doing for decades to come: hiking in the hills, dancing, finding my ‘anchors and endpoints.’ I can grow old gracefully with it. Thank you, Carole, for teaching me these things.

After 1.5 years of practicing this work (I was fortunate to live down the street from her and immerse myself in her training), I was a bit in shock about the significant changes Carole had helped to take place in my body; some of which were: release of lower back and neck pain, way more flexibility, actual, real stomach muscles, a much deeper awareness of my body and how it works…& much more! In addition, we implemented breath, relaxation, the mind-body connection, and (again) much, much more!

I live halfway around the world from Carole now. I know that if I weren’t utilizing the tools I learned from her, that I would be more apt to be in pain and have limited movement. I’m talking about generic back pain, inflexibility; really your average-Joe issues with living life and being active. And I must say, I’m rarely doing an hour of pilates. I am doing about 10 minutes most days. Utilizing and integrating the tools I have learned have given me a much greater allowance for movement and the ability to actively play. And, I only expect to be able to use these tolls even into my 90s and 100s!

This is not a “surface” pilates experience. This is the real deal with, by far, one of the most gifted bodyworkers I’ve ever worked with (which is not a short list!). What makes her so incredibly unique is not only her wealth of knowledge & experience but an intuitive sense that feels like x-ray vision of your bones. I am forever grateful to have Carole in my life.
